Tutong Youth Council Holds Choir Competition

Tutong - The Tutong District Youth Council held a Lagu-lagu Keputeraan Choir competition in conjunction with his Majesty's 58`h Birthday celebrations last Tuesday night.

Even though it rained very heavily, it did not dampen the performances and held back visitors from coming in to watch the show.

The winner of the competition was choir group, Medley from the PRIMET association, Telisai, which sang "15 Julai Kelahiran Putera."

Meanwhile, second and third places went to SMSO and PERGANITA Tutong association group respectively.

The event also featured a song and dance performance, which was jointly presented by the Youth and Welfare Association and Tutong District Youth Council.

The event ended with a prize giving ceremony to the winners of the competition, which was presented by the guest of honour, Orang Kaya Perkama Indera Hassan bin Ibrahim. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
