Brunei Scout Team Joins Invitational Programme In Japan

Bandar Seri Begawan - Three Brunei Darussalam Scout Association members were entrusted with the national flag yesterday during a flag presentation ceremony held at the Brunei International Airport.

The flag was presented by Hj Zainal Abidin Penghulu Hj Ibrahim, Chief National Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association (PPNBD), to Ak Ahmad Din Pg Hj Mohd Tajuddin, leader of the Brunei delegation to Japan.

Dk Kianna Pg Abd Rahman and Hjh Siti Navila Hj Nasip make up the remainder of the Scout team who embarked on a visit to Japan following the association's acceptance of an invitation to participate in the `2004 Invitational Programme' organised by the Scouts Association of Japan.

The 16-day visit will see the team visiting places of interest and participating in several activities, including the 6th Nippon Venture, a National camp for Venture scouts, International Scouts Youth Forum and a Home Hospitality Programme. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
