Empire offers memorable moments to
Japanese delegation
Bandar Seri
Begawan - In a collaborative effort to attract more Japanese
visitors to Brunei, The Empire Hotel & Country Club and Brunei Tourism
hosted a familiarisation trip for a group of high profile Japanese
travel agents recently.
Upon arrival at the hotel, the
Japanese delegation was welcomed by General Manager Anne Busfield,
Director of Sales & Marketing Collin Chan and Assistant Director of
Sales & Marketing Vivian Chu.
Staying at The Empire Hotel and
Country Club during their visit, the group was extremely impressed
with all that the hotel had to offer including the spacious and
luxuriously appointed guest rooms and the extensive services and
facilities offered.
In order to fully understand the
product, Miss Vivian Chu hosted a full hotel tour for the group,
showing them the variety of rooms, suites and villas available,
various facilities, The Empire Country Club and the stunning floodlit
18-hole Jack Nicklaus-designed championship golf course.
The group also toured Brunei and
visited tourist attractions such as Kuala Belalong Forest Reserve in
Temburong and the nation's mosques.
The Japanese market is extremely
important to Brunei as it is probably one of the largest outbound
markets in the world.
With a passion for travelling,
especially to destinations that offer good golfing in an exotic
setting, such as Brunei, it is hoped that more Japanese will discover
Brunei, resulting in an increased number of Japanese tourists to our
Sultanate.
The Empire Hotel & Country Club has
accommodated quite a number of Japanese visitors since opening and all
have left Brunei with memorable moments and a positive outlook. --
