The Bureau also stated that it would continue to monitor those involved in the distribution and consumption of drugs in its efforts to free the country from the ill-effects of drug abuse.

Furthermore, the Bureau once again reminded the public that allowing residential dwellings to be used for distribution, processing or any drug abuse related activities is an offence under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

The Bureau also warned that possessing drugs for the purpose of trafficking in Brunei, emphasising that Methylamphetamine or drugs under the Class `A' category weighing more than 50 grammes, carries the death penalty.
