Five Police Officers Promoted

Bandar Seri Begawan - Five police officers from the Logistics Department of the Royal Brunei Police were promoted in a ceremony held in Gadong yesterday morning.

Present to officiate at the ceremony was Acting Senior Superintendent Matanrit bin Hj Kanak, Acting Director of Logistic Department, who inspected a parade consisting of personnel from the Logistics Department shortly after his arrival.

The police officers, who were promoted, are S/Sgt Pg Maslan Pg Manai, who was promoted to Sargeant Major, CPL Zakaria bin Ahad, who was promoted to Sergeant, L/Cpl Masri bin Bahar and L/Cpl Hj Mohd Sruji bin Abdullah, who were both promoted to Corporal and PC Aspar bin Hj Damit, promoted to Corporal.

Four other police personnel also received their Police Services Medal.

In a brief speech, the Acting Director of Logistics Department advised police personnel to work harder and strive to excel in what they are especially good at.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
