Champion karters of Tyre Mart meet

Hj Harith Pehin Hj. Aziz of Amori Brunei team and Mohd. Hamzah Rosli of ABW team emerged champions in the Formula 100 and Formula Yamaha categories respectively at the Tyre Mart Championship 2004 Round 2 held at Jerudong Park Kart Circuit over the weekend.

The Kart Prix championship was organised by Biesse Karting in conjunction with His Majesty's 58th birthday celebrations and co-sponsored by Sheraton Utama Hotel. The race was participated by 30 karters including from Miri and Kuala Lumpur as well as karters from Brunei.

Mohd. Diauddin Hj. Mohd. Daud of ABW team took the second place in the Formula 100 category and third place went to Mohd. Rafiee Junaidi from Amori Brunei team.

Peter Hii from Amori Miri team was placed second in the Formula Yamaha category and third was Rosli Bani from Amori KL.

Prizes were presented by John Zhang, the Chief Executive Officer of Tyre Mart at the end of the race.

The next Go-Kart race will be held in the Tutong District on Sunday August 1 also in conjunction with His Majesty's 58th birthday celebrations.
