Nazmi Textile Mall, the leading textile merchant in the Sultanate, opened its latest branch at The Mall, Gadong on Monday to provide another shopping venue for public in search of textiles.

The official opening was launched by a renowned local businessman, Pehin Dato Paduka Hj Abdul Hafidz bin Pehin Hj Abdul Razak.

The ceremony was also attended by other businessmen as well as government officers.

At the official launch, the textile establishment also presented a donation to the Sponsorship Committee of the Cultural Performances for the Royal Wedding.

Nazir Ahmad Zakaria representing Nazmi Textile Mall handed over a $3,000 donation to chairman of the sponsor committee, Pehin Dato Paduka Hj Abdul Hafidz.

The opening of the new branch by Nazmi Textile Mall showed the confidence of the establishment on the national economy and underscoring the continuing buoyancy of the trade in textiles.

"With a proven track record of reaching a broader segment of the local and regional customers, the new branch at the latest state-of-the-art shopping complex is all set to record a higher number of business deals and transactions," said Nazir.

He added that earthy garments that are strewn with exquisite array of colours could be found at Nazmi Textile Mall.

"Our prices are competitive enough compared to those offered in the region. We have customers from Malaysia and Singapore who commented that our textiles are much cheaper yet of high quality," he said.

"Our collection is based more on the practical and commercial aspects of the garments," he added.
