65 RBAF Officers Promoted

Bandar Seri Begawan – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) yesterday held a ceremony to promote 65 officers held at the Officers' mess of the Berakas Garrison

The new round of promotion was with the consent of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei.

On hand to present the rank insignias was Pehin Major General Dato Paduka Hj Awg Halbi Hj Mohd Yussof¸ RBAF Commander, in the presence of other commanders, directors at the Ministry of Defence, Senior Officers and RBAF personnel.

Acting Major Norhazalan Abdullah and Captain (U) Matyussof Matyassin were both promoted to Substantive Major. Captain (U) Yussof Hj Mustafa was promoted to Major.

Captain (U) Mohd Sharif DP Hj Ibrahim, Captain Roszeda Harridan, Captain Azman Hj Bangkol, Captain Hj Mohd Haszaimi Bolhassan, Captain Hjh Suraini Hj Junaidi, Captain Hj Mohd Norfahssin Hj Abd Karim, Captain Suradzin Yuzu, Captain Mohd Zulkamain Hj Abd Wahab, Captain Hj Abd Razak Abdul Kadir, Captain Ak Sharifuddin Pg Hj Yusof and Captain Ak Zulkarnain Edham Ali Pg Jaya Indera Pg Hj Mokhtar Puteh were each promoted to Acting Major.

Lieutenant (L) Ali Rahman Abdul Gapar and Lt Awg Rosh Bujang were promoted to Captain while the 22 Acting Captains promoted to Substantive Captain and 18 2nd Lieutenants were promoted to Lieutenant.
