Sex Scandal Man A Senior Education Ministry Official

Bandar Seri Begawan – The senior public servant allegedly caught with his pants down on Thursday is a top Education Ministry official, an inquiry by www.brudirect.com has revealed.

Among Pengiran Haji Johari bin Pengiran Haji Mohd Daud’s many duties was head of ministry’s school feeding scheme. He was also in charge of school hostels in the country.

He has separate department within the Education Ministry. It is located at Kampong Serusop in Berakas in the outskirts of the capital.

The man in his early fifties was allegedly caught during a sex raid in his office with a woman staff and could face charges under religious laws.

The most likely charge leveled at him would be the Khalwat or close proximity offence, religious enforcement officials said.

It is an offence under Islamic law for a man and a woman who are not husband and wife to be found alone under suspicious circumstances.

Offenders could be fined or jailed.

They could also face stiff departmental disciplinary action, an official said.

Syariah Affairs Department allegedly found the senior public servant in close proximity with his female staff at their office in Berakas at noon, it was previously reported.

A spokesperson from the Syariah Affairs Department said that following information from the public, a team of officers from the Enforcement Section raided the department at 12.46 pm on Thursday.

According to the officer, the senior public servant and his female staff, both believed to be married, were allegedly together in the public servant’s office during lunch break.

The door was reportedly locked from inside and it took quite a while before the officer opened it, allegations stated.

It was learnt that an inspection made on a room in the department, believed to be the office of the senior public servant, revealed several condoms and women’s cosmetics.

Investigations are still being conducted on the couple and they could be charged under Chapter 177 (1) and (2) under the Islamic Religious Council and Kadi Court Act for close proximity and convicted if found guilty, the spokesperson added.
