Fratini's grand promotion

For Italian food lovers, all
Fratini's outlets throughout Brunei would be offering a 50 per cent
discount on its a la carte pasta and pizza in conjunction with His
Majesty's 58th birthday celebration, and to commemorate its 8th
anniversary.
The discount offer would run for two
weeks, from Monday, July 12 to Sunday, July 25.
Customers dining in the Italian
restaurant's Kuala Belait, Jalan Muara and Centrepoint outlets can
avail of the discount from 12 noon to 6 pm. Diners at its Yayasan
Shopping Complex outlet can get the discount from 6 pm to 10 pm.
The restaurant's executive chef from
Southern Italy, Maurizio Intrigila, announced that next month, the
restaurant would have a food promotion on its salmon dishes such as
the 'Zuppa di salmone' (salmon and corn chowder based with spring
onions, snow peas and beef rashes), 'Spaghetti al pesto di basilica e
bocconcini di salmone' (Spaghetti pasta tossed with home made basil
sauce and crispy diced salmon) and more.
The food promotion would be held on a
monthly basis, he added.
Chef Maurizio would also be
introducing changes on its signature dishes every six months. His
current popular signature dishes are the 'Pappardella dello zar' (home
made Tuscan ribbon pasta tossed with caviar, garlic, parsley and
smoked salmon in a creamy and saffron sauce served with green salad
tossed in French dressing) and the 'Sella di agnello1 al profumo di
Sicilia' (oven baked rack of lamb served with citrus syrup and lamb
marinated with rosemary and garlic served with market vegetables and
potatoes of the day).
For a quick lunch, Fratini's has a
list of dishes guaranteed to be served in five to ten minutes. The
"Business Lunch Menu" comprising carte du jour such as 'Carpaccio di
salmone con mozzarella e calamari fritti' (Smoked salmon carpaccio
with deep fried squid and fresh mozzarella cheese', 'Crostini con
spumoni di melanzane e gamberoni al vapore' (Farm toasted bread with
eggplant mouse topped with steamed prawns) and many more.
Chef Maurizio assured customers they
would experience the flavour and taste of Italian food without
actually being in Italy. Fratini's vows to bring the best quality of
Italian dish to its Bruneian customers by importing most of its herbs
and ingredients.
