Bandar Seri Begawan - QAF FC got back to winning ways when they hammered Kota Rangers 4-1 at the Belapan field in one of the two exciting Shell Helix Premier I matches played last night.

At the Jabatan Belia and Sukan field, it was a 7-goal thriller as Kasuka FC edged Sengkurong FC 4-3.

It was a wonderful night for QAF FC captained by Prince Abdul Qawi as they got back on track in the league putting on a spectacular performance by beating Kota Ranger 4-1 in a match that was mostly dominated by QAF FC.

Muhd Hardyman Abd Lamit opened the scoring in the 13th minute latching on a beautiful back flick from Prince Abdul Qawi before slotting the ball home from a one-on-one situation.

After the early goal, QAF FC stepped up the pressure on the Kota Ranger defence and got a second through Mohd Fadzry Hj Ibrahim who blasted the ball to the far right edge of goal after being brilliantly put through by Riwandi Wahit. The first half ended with QAF FC leading 2-0.

In the second half, QAF FC scored two more quick goals in the space of three minutes. Their third goal came in the 62nd minute through Muhd Hardyman Abd Lamit who scored a cracker from outside the box after being spotted unmarked by Mohd Fadzry Hj Ibrahim who dribbled past two defenders before setting up the goal.

Three minutes later Mardi Anak Bujang scored the easiest goal of the night when he only tapped in a right free kick which was misjudged by the Kota Ranger goalie, Sai ful Adli Talib.

Awg Azamain Awg Hj. Masri scored a consolation goal for Kota Ranger in the 75th minute from the penalty spot when QAF FC Mushiready Chuchu brought down Lim Aik Hock in the box.

Meanwhile, Kasuka FC defeated Sengkurong FC in what was a chasing game of football. It was Kasuka FC who took the lead when Md Ros Adly Hj Rosli scored as early in the 5th minute and Md Radzi Tamat added a second nine minutes later.

The deficit was reduced when Sengkurong's Md Fami Hj Masri scored in the 21st minute. On the 36th minute, Sengkurong equalised the score through Hj Amirul Azli Hj Md Yakub. But that did not last when two minutes later Hj Md Helmi Hj Abu Bakar stunned their opponents to put Kasuka FC 3-2 in front before the break.

In the second half the score was equalised again by Sengkurong FC Hj Md Nor Azrul Azni Nordin in the 61st minute but for the second time again, it did not last as Kasuka FC led again five minutes later when Md Shahjohan Hj Shari scored the fourth goal which proved to be the winning goal until the final whistle.
