Two locals Nabbed For Smuggling Restricted Goods

Bandar Seri Begawan - Two locals were arrested last night following their alleged attempts to bring restricted items into the country.

Acting on a public tip-off, a team of CID personnel from the Limau Manis Police Station succeeded in foiling the attempts after the duo were apprehended at Jalan Kg. Junjung, at 2 am yesterday.

The CID found 14 boxes of dubious `Seara' chicken wings, each weighing 15 kg, seven boxes of dubious `Allan' meat, weighing 20 kg each, eight boxes of dubious chicken meat each weighing 12 kg and one set of Astro. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
