M'sian students visit Pusat Ehsan

Four Malaysian students, who arrived in the country last Sunday to take part in the Pantun Remaja MoU RTB/RTM 2004, yesterday made a visit to Pusat Ehsan in Kg Bengkurong.

The students were accompanied by two education officers, four Radio Television Malaysia (RTM) delegates and an officer from the Information Department.

The visiting group was given a briefing by Manager of Pusat Ehsan Major (R) Pg Hj Tajuddin Pg Hj Mohd Yassin, followed by a tour around the centre.

Headed by Cikgu Mustafa Kamarul Razak, the students are in the Sultanate on an exchange programme between Radio Television Brunei (RTB) and RTM, aimed to enhance the working relationship between the two stations.

Another objective is to encourage the younger generation to take an interest in Pantun, as part of the effort to sustain the cultural heritage.

The students also recorded "Pantun Remaja" with Berakas Primary
