Rehearsal for upcoming get-together event at JPCC Amphitheatre

A get-together ceremony between His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and his subjects will be held at JPCC Amphitheatre on July 18. Yesterday morning saw students from various schools and representatives from Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports as well as other government departments and private organisations taking part in the first rehearsal for the upcoming event. The event, organised by the Brunei-Muara District Office and hosted by Mukim Sengkurong, is aimed at strengthening ties between His Majesty and his people. There will also be performances by representatives from all 17 mukims in the Brunei-Muara District. Photos show participants during a rehearsal yesterday.
