Students urged to learn from Beijing fair

Twenty Form Four and Form Six students, who are set to represent Brunei in the 3rd APEC Youth Science Festival in Beijing, yesterday visited the Information Department, accompanied by six officers from STEP, Ministry of Education and headed by Cikgu Norerawadi Haji Ibrahim.

Awg Azman bin Hj Abdul Rahim, an officer representing the director of the department, in his speech urged the students to gain as much knowledge and experience as possible during their stay in China.

He added they should take the opportunity to interact with youths from other participating countries.

The speech was followed by a briefing from Officer Awg Musa bin Mohidin and question-and-answer session.

The trip ended with a visit to the Golden Jubilee Exhibition, Pengiran Seti Negara Hall.
