Mutual Aid celebrates 38th anniversary

The New Village Mutual Aid Association in Seria marked its 38th anniversary on July 3, 2004. The chief guest was Pehin Bendahari China Onn Siew Siong. Long services awards were given out to its members for their 15 years of service in the association. Also featured at the evening event were a cultural dance, singing performance and a lucky draw. Photo shows the chief guest (3L) with Mr Lau Siew Yuan (4L), the chairman of the New Village Mutual Association and other guests during a cake-cutting ceremony.
