St. George’s Business Students Visit HSBC

Bandar Seri Begawan - Students of St. George's School made an education visit to HSBC in the capital yesterday.

The group of 38 students, comprising of Accounting and Economic Form 4 students, were welcomed by Mr Rosli Haji Haron, Human Resources Officer, and Ms Vivi Sha'ah Masri, Training Officer from HSBC Human Resources and Training Department.

The students watched a short video on the history of HSBC.

There was also a presentation on the operations and services of the bank by Ms Vivi Sha'ah, followed by a Q&A session.

Among the departments that the students visited at HSBC were HSBC Call Centre, Treasury and Capital Market Department, Communication and CML Department, and Premier Department.

The visit aimed to broaden the students' knowledge on the banking sector and corporate facilities available through HSBC and to provide an opportunity for the students to exchange views and observe the banking environment. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
