PMGC Open meet August 13-15

The Pantai Mentiri Golf Club (PMGC) will be hosting its 20th Amateur Golf Open Championship for three consecutive days from Aug 13.

Entries are currently open to all amateur golfers with minimum USGA handicap of 18 for men and USGA handicap 28 for the ladies.

This year, the organising committee is also expecting entries from its 32 reciprocal club members as well as those amateur golfers from the region to compete in this prestigious meet.

Among attractions to be won this year include four cars for all Par 3s for any golfer who score a hole-in-one and all winners will walk away with prize money plus trophies.

A reception dinner on the first day of the championship will be held at the Riverview Hotel and registration for the event will be open on the following day at the club house.

During the meet, members as well as spectators will be able to get on-line and check live scores of the event or even conduct their individual online business transaction via internet where an indoor wireless LAN will be provided at the club sponsored by Lucent Technology and Primatel Communication.
