ITB students gain insight into the press

Yesterday, 14 students from the Institute of Technology Brunei (ITB) visited Brunei Press Sdn Bhd. They were members of the ITB Student Council. They were led by Mohd Sofy bin Mohd Eussoff from the Business and Finance Department.

The students, who were from different course departments, made the visit hoping to know more about the different functions of the newspaper, from the compilation of news items to newspaper production, distribution, sales, marketing and human resource aspects.

Present to brief the students on the background and function of each department at Brunei Press was Hj. Jaafar Hj Tahir, the Sales Manager. He also took the students on a tour to the various departments.
