CCMS uses ICT in teaching
By James Sim

Chung Ching Middle School (CCMS) has
been utilising an ICT (Information Communication Technology) programme
to assist teachers in the teaching of subjects such as Mathematics,
Science, Geography and English.
Using computer programmes,
audio-visual materials and multimedia devices helps teachers to
explain clearly and comprehensively any topic they need to discuss. It
also helps students to understand the thoughts and ideas presented by
teachers.
CCMS
has gone through a lot of innovations in the progress of ICT. In their
library they have set up 27 interconnected computers for their
Accelerated English student readers as well as Internet surfing and
online discussion.
They also have a multimedia room for
seminars, reports and symposiums with the aid of LCD projectors and a
good sound system. Each classroom also has an overhead projector.
