Be Positive Amidst Business Climate Changes, Businessmen Told

Bandar Seri Begawan – Local businessmen are urged to have positive attitude in facing any changes in business climate both in regional and international level.

Awang Mohamad Ramli, Officer-in-Duty of the Chairman of the Bandar Seri Begawan's Municipal Board, made the call at the launching of the International Bazaar in the capital in conjunction with His Majesty’s 58th birthday celebration yesterday.

In his remark, he said that forging and creating business networking with foreign colleagues should become a part of the local business strategies.

He also believed that local entrepreneurs will be able to expand their businesses with solid enthusiasm and readiness to practise the latest business techniques.

The well-established foreign businessmen participating in the bazaar are good examples to the new local businessmen.

The International Bazaar is aimed at encouraging business growth where it provides the opportunity to the local participants to exchange views and ideas with their colleagues from other countries.

It is also designed to glorify this year’s birthday anniversary of His Majesty and to encourage locals to spend their money at home.

The bazaar is taking place at the Bumiputera Commercial Centre since Friday and is open daily until July 10 from 10am till 10pm.

More than 45 local and foreign companies are participating in the bazaar.
