Chung Hwa Kindergarten teachers attend training

Teachers of Chung Hwa Middle School Kindergarten attended a five-day in-service training on teaching methodology, which started from June 21.

The training was conducted by the Acting Assistant Principal of the kindergarten, Gao Yan, and two local teachers who had just returned from Taiwan.

The areas of training include nursery rhymes, aerobics and the teaching of Chinese language.

There is a greater emphasis on the analysis and the practical aspect of teaching Chinese to assist teachers to apply theory to daily classroom teaching. This is to ensure all teachers follow the uniqueness and rules of teaching the language to enhance the quality and ability of teaching.

Coupled with new practical knowledge, these teachers will be able to provide a more scientific, interesting, creative and varied Chinese lessons to their pupils.
