Walkathon to boost health, ties

Members of the Kampungs Panchor Murai and Imang Women's Sports Organisation held a walkathon yesterday for the residents of Kampungs Panchor Murai, Imang and Batong at Mukim Pengkalan Batu in the Brunei-Muara District. Also taking part was the Penghulu of Mukim Pengkalan Batu and his wife.

The 5-km route for the walkathon started from the Kampung Panchor Murai Mosque and proceeded to Ampangan Air, which is a freshwater fishing ground. Then the walkers circled back to the mosque.

The Women's Village Sports Organisation organised the walkathon to boost health and strengthen bonds between committee members and residents of the villages.
