Fire Razes House at Tanjung Nangka

Bandar Seri Begawan - A fire broke out in a room of a double-storey house on Simpang 66, Kampong Tanjung Nangka at noon yesterday.

Two tire engines and seven fire services personnel led by ASO Haji Adinin from Jerudong Fire Station helped put out the fire.

They rushed to the scene after receiving an emergency call.

Two men said they saw smoke coming from their neighbour's house occupied by female staff of a local company, and called for help.

The cause of the fire and losses are under investigation. No casualties were reported. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
