Muslim Women Have Obligation To Wear Headscarf

Bandar Seri Begawan - Women in the country today have the opportunity to hear a religious talk on headscarf by a guest speaker from Malaysia. .

Dato Dr Masitah Ibrahim delivered the talk entitled "Wanita Dan Tudong" or Women and Headscarf. The wives of ministers attended the talk, an annual event organised by Bistari Berhad Coperation and F.A Azfar Enterprise.

Half of the proceeds from ticket selling will be donated to Brunei Smarter Association for Autism Children.

The talk among others stressed on the obligation of Muslim women to wear headscarf. There was also a demonstration of various ways of wearing headscarves and an exhibition of Muslim attire.
