Nissan Rogue Stars In ‘Heroes Season 2’

Bandar Seri Begawan - Nissan has announced sponsorship of the popular TV series "Heroes" on Star World Southeast Asia and Star World Philippines cable channel.

Recently, Star World Southeast Asia aired the "Heroes" Season One marathon on January 19 and 20.

Season Two of the series is expected to premiere today.

In Season One, the series featured the Nissan Tiida/Latio sports while Season Two will showcase a new crossover vehicle, the Nissan Rogue.

The new season of the series will also see one of the main characters that will also start working at a Nissan dealership outlet.

"Our promotion campaign for Season Two in the US was very successful and we wanted to extend this to Asia as part of our global brand-building activity", said Simon Sproule, corporate vice president of Global Communications.

The Nissan Rogue is a new compact crossover SUV released in September 2007 for the 2008 model year by Japanese Automaker, Nissan.

The car that is only available in the US market and is built on the same platform as the Nissan X-Trail is powered by a 170hp (127kW) 2.5 L four-cylinder engine with Xtronic CVTTM (Continuously Variable Transmission) engine. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
