Anti-Dope Seminar Closes

Begawan - The two-day anti-doping seminar closed with a
certificate presentation to the speakers yesterday afternoon.
The guest of honour, Dato Paduka
Awang Haji Yakub Bin Abu Bakar, the Deputy Minister of Culture, Youth
and Sport, presented the certificates.

Mohammad, Deputy Chairman ofthe Organising Committee of the 1st BDADC
Anti Doping seminar, said it educated and enabled us to move forward
in introducing more anti doping measures that are more systematic
among the sporting fraternity in Brunei Darussalam, in keeping tandem
with regional and international regulations.
From the establishment of Brunei
Darussalam Anti Doping Committee, there is now much to look forward to
and adhere to in, ensuring that the sporting spirit of fair play and
healthy, clean competition is guaranteed, he said.
Over 200 participants heard
presentations and briefing on Prohibited & Permitted Lists by Dr.
Dangsina Moelek, Result Management and Appeals by Prof Keun Youl Kim,
Doping Control Station set up by Dr. Rueangsak Siriphol and Sampling
Collection by Dr. Hj Danish Zaheer. --
