Telephone Upgrade For Mediwa & Sengkurong

Bandar Seri Begawan – Jabatan Telekom Brunei announced there would be telephone service interruptions on Friday, January 13, from 12.0 lam until the work is completed.

The expected 20-minute service interruption is due to the Universal Media Gateway (UMG) upgrade at the Mediwa and Sengkurong exchanges.

The system upgrade will affect 12,000 customers with numbers 265XXXX- Mediwa, 266XXXX and 267XXXX - Sengkurong, 268XXXX - Kg Masin, Limau Manis and Kupang, 264XXXX Junjungan and 261 XXXX - Jerudong.

Jabatan Telekom Brunei apologised to its customers for any inconvenience caused.
