Drug Trafficker Detained

Bandar Seri Begawan – A local man was detained yesterday by Narcotics Control Bureau officers at Kg Pandan, Belait District in suspicion of trafficking controlled drugs.

The 30-year-old man was believed to have been trafficking 50.3 grammes of heroin, 98.1 grammes of cannabis and 11 tablets of meramin 5.

The Bandar Magistrate's Court ordered the man to be remanded at Kuala Belait Police Station until later this month. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
