St Andrew's achieves another year
of academic success

The year 2004 proved to be another
great year of success for St Andrew's School. For the third
consecutive year the school had scored 100% passes in the PSR as well
as PMB examinations.
Last year, the school scored 100%
pass in PSR, from a total of 164 students. 54 students achieved 5As
and another 35 students achieved 4As and 1B.
For the PMB examinations, the school
also scored a 100% pass, with 31 students scoring aggregate 5 units,
which is, achieving at least 5A1s or the highest distinction. This
figure includes a total of two students with 8A1, five students with
7A1 and 1A2, four with 7A1 and 1B3, and 13 with 6A1 and 2A2/3A2.
In a small ceremony, amongst teachers
and staffs, the Principal of St Andrew's School, Mr Jacob Chin
congratulated the victorious students who scored at least an aggregate
of 5 units in their PMB examinations.
The principal applauded the students
as well as teachers for their hard work, determination and successes.
He also thanked and gave acknowledgement to the parents for their
cooperation, and highlighted the importance of parents' role in the
students' academic success, especially in terms of supervision and
support.
