More Donations For Tsunami Disaster Relief Fund

Bandar Seri Begawan - Donations are pouring in from various private organisations and non-governmental agencies for the victims of the tsunami tragedy in Asia.

Yesterday morning, $5,500 was donated by Bistari Association to the Tsunami Disaster Relief Fund, which took place at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

On hand to receive the donation from Datin Hajah Maimunah bte Haji Omar was Datin Hajah Adina bte Othman, the Director of Community Development Department, who is also the Secretary of the Tsunami Disaster Relief Fund.

Meanwhile on Tuesday, staff, officers and workers of Syarikat Seri Pertamas Garment Manufacturer Sendirian Berhad had also generously donated a total of $2,443.79 to the Tsunami Disaster Relief Fund.

Present to give away the donation to Datin Hajah Adina was Awang Haji Mohd Ibrahim bin Haji Nudin, the Human Resource Manager of the company.
