Bandar Seri Begawan – Dato Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Mohiddin, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs, is being transferred as the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

Dato Awang Haji Idris bin Haji Belaman, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources takes his place to become the Permanent Secretary at Ministry of Home Affairs.

These transfers and others are contained in a press release issued by the Prime Minister's Office yesterday.

It said “By command of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, the Sultan of Brunei, the Prime Minister's Office announced that His Majesty has consented to appoint a new Permanent Secretary and the transfer of several Permanent Secretaries and a Deputy Permanent Secretary".

Awang Haji Mohd Hamid bin Haji Mohd Jaafar, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was appointed as the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources.

Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Yusoff bin Haji Ismail, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, is now the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Dato Awang Haji Md Yusuf bin Haji Md Hassan, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs, was transferred as the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Communications.

And Awang Haji Mahadi bin Pehin Orang Kaya Digadong Seri Diraja Dato Laila Utama Haji Awang Abdul Rahman, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health, is being transferred as the Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
