Kg Bolkiah 'A' has postal representative

A postal representative was appointed to Kampong Bolkiah "A" yesterday morning at the Mails and Parcels Processing Centre in Berakas.

Present at the event was Assistant Postmaster General (Operations Section) Awg Hamir bin Mohd Salleh and Head of Delivery Section Hajah Hammah Puasa.

Representative Awg Rusbi bin Idris was appointed to help residents of Kampong Bolkiah "A" obtain various postal services including delivering and receiving registered mails.

According to Awg Hamir, the appointment of a postal representative was aimed at serving the public especially those living in rural areas where postal services are scarce.

He said the Postal Services Department is planning to appoint postal representatives to several commercial areas in order to improve its services to the public.

He advised those who just moved residence to inform the Postal Services Department of their latest addresses.
