Anyone For Ballroom Dancing?

Bandar Seri Begawan - Sixty participants on Friday attended the first ballroom dance class at the Mabohai Sports Centre.

Present to officiate the ribbon-cutting ceremony were Mr Sunny Low and Miss Aleena Tan, two professional dance instructors from Singapore and Miss Judy Ngiam.

The professional dance workshop was organised in conjunction with the opening of the D'Music Motion Fitness Studio.

The class was conducted by renowned Singaporean ballroom dancer, Sunny Low and his assistance, Miss Aleena Tan.

Also known as the `King of Ballroom Dancing', Mr Sunny Low had trained and choreographed dozens of famous Hong Kong celebrities such as Lydia Sum, Siew Fong Fong, Chang Poh Chee and Sit Kar Ym.

Besides being an active choreographer, Mr Sunny Low was also one of the judges for the 2000 World Classic Showdance Championship, World Professional 10 Dance Championship in 2002 and the 2004 World Standard Championship.
