Family Holds Doa Selamat After Surviving Landslide

Bandar Seri Begawan - A family who were victims of a landslide last Friday at Kampong Batu Ampar, Mukim Pangkalan Batu yesterday held a `doa selamat' and `doa tolak bala' reading ceremony.

The family of Hj Matzin bin Hj Awang held the ceremony as they were grateful for surviving the landslide.

Hj Matzin's three-year-old daughter, Nurin Izzah Nasoha, who survived the landslide, was also present during the ceremony.

According to Hj Matzin, his family moved all their belongings to their relatives' houses.

He also mentioned that they were still waiting for JKR to fix the area. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
