Motorists Cautioned To Drive With Care On Rainy Days

Bandar Seri Begawan - Royal Brunei Police have advised motorists to exercise caution during heavy downpours which can render numerous main roads in this country hazardous to use.

Heavy rain on Friday flooded the main road at Sungai Tajau in Kg Wasan at Mukim Pengkalan Batu until Saturday.

Limau Manis police installed signboards to notify motorists, mostly in saloon cars, to turn around when flooded roads are impassable especially at night.

In Kg Batu Ampar, residents were seen cleaning their houses on Friday noon.

Residents have been told to watch out for their children during the downpours which have caused minor landslips. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
