Bandar Seri Begawan – The BLG-PMGC Junior Golf Championship 2004 was held for the first time in Brunei Darussalam on Dec 27.

The meet sponsored by BLG (Borneo Landscaping & Grassing) saw a total of 23 golfers vying for honours.

The objective of the meet is to encourage more junior players to know more about the game and hope the government would give support to help our juniors achieve international standard.

PMGC has been established for more than 20 years and the present committee is giving youths an opportunity to recognise this game.

As PMGC is preparing a school academy for golf for the locals, they are hoping that parents will encourage their children to participate in this game to know what golf is about. Golf is not just a game, but it is educational too.

Winners were divided into four groups - Special Class 18-21 years, Class A 15-17 years, Class B 13-14 years and Class C 12 years and below.
