Brunei Prays For Muslim Victims In Tsunami-Ravaged Asia

Bandar Seri Begawan – Residents in the country gathered in mosques and suraus throughout the country to perform the Ghaib prayer yesterday afternoon.

Ghaib prayers were held after the sunnat hajat prayers and before the Friday prayers.

They were meant for Muslim victims of the earthquake and Tsunami disaster that affected several neighbouring countries.

Earlier, His Majesty ordered to cancel all forms of entertainment to celebrate the New Year 2005 to show sympathy for the victims in tsunamis-hit nations in Asia. -- Courtesy of Radio Television Brunei
