Promotion of 51 RBAF officers

A promotion ceremony for officers of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces personnel was held yesterday at the Officers Mess in Berakas Garrison. Present as chief guest, who presented the badges of rank, was Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General Dato Paduka Seri Hj Awg Halbi, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces. A total of 51 officers were promoted: eight to Permanent Major, one to Acting Major, 29 to captains and 13 to Lieutenant. Also in attendance were senior officers from the Armed Forces and their families.
