Begawan – In line with the government's efforts to channel more
jobseekers into the private sector, the Brunei Institute of Technology
yesterday organised a Career Dialogue for prospective graduates, to
better equip them when entering the job market.
Present at the opening ceremony of
the Career Dialogue was the Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry
of Education, Pengiran Datin Hajah Mariam binti Pengiran Matarsat.
This career fair is a yearly project,
organised by the ITB Student Welfare Body (Majlis Badan Kebajikan
Pelajar Institut Teknlogi Brunei) aimed at providing students with
information and guidance, to help them in selecting a career they may
be interested in.
Among the partisans in the Career
Dialogue were HSBC, Schlumberger Overseas, the Empire Hotel and
Country Club, Royal Brunei Airlines and DST Communications.
There were also representatives from
