4-D Dragon Slain By Religious Officials

Kuala Belait - A site used to allegedly summon spirits or ghosts to obtain 4-digit lottery numbers at Rasau road was dismantled by officials from the Belait District Religious Enforcement Section yesterday morning.

A few items were also seized for investigation.

The inspection of the area about one metre from a junction towards Rasau road was conducted following newspaper reports calling for action by the authorities.

In a shrub, two logs resembling the head and body of a dragon, believed to be burnt, as well as red plates filled with food such as beans were found.

The Religious Office said that the authorities would continue to investigate the activities and monitor other similar practices which had been boldly conducted in an area near where cars were passing by.

The Religious Enforcement Section is appealing to the public to report any suspicious activities so that swift action could be taken. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
