Forum To Mark Feast Of Sacrifice Held In Mosque

Bandar Seri Begawan – Several religious activities have been held in conjunction with the Feast of Sacrifice, which is celebrated on Monday.

One such event was a Forum organised by the Kampong Bunut Mosque.

The Forum titled "Menyingkap Keagungan Ciptaan Allah" or 'Revealing the Greatest Creation of God the Almighty' is aimed at enhancing understanding and knowledge of the Ummah on the early history of mankind.

Through such gathering the organiser also hoped to attract more members of the society, especially the young generation, to get involved in religious activities.

A member of the panel, Sheikh Edham bin Sheikh Haji Nikman, said that the Ummah is the most noble creatures ever created.

He said the Ummah should not doubt the contents of the Holy Quran.

He called on Muslims to learn the teachings of the holy book and adopt the principles as their daily practice.

Meanwhile another panel member Haji Maimu Aqsa bin Haji Abidin Lubis from Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) said that God the Almighty createed Prophet Adam SAW as an example to mankind.

It is an obligation for man to pray to his Creator to seek His blessings.
