Kg Bunut Mosque holds forum

A forum entitled "Menyingkap Keagungan Ciptaan Allah", organised by the Takmir and Muslimah Committee of Kg Bunut Mosque, was held at the mosque's premises Wednesday evening, in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidil Adha 1424.

The event was held in collaboration with consultative councils of Kg Bunut Perpindahan, Kg Tasek Meradun-Bunut, Kg Madewa and Kg Sungai Ketam-Telanai.

Present as the chief guest was Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Pehin Orang Kaya Setia Raja Dato Seri Paduka Hj Awang Ali bin Hj Md Daud.

The forum began with a recitation of Surah al-Fatihah, led by Imam Hj Abdullah bin BPK Hj Abdul Wahid.

The panellists for the forum were Dr Ustaz Hj Maimun Aqsa bin Hj Abidin Lubis, a lecturer from Universiti Brunei Darussalam, and Sheikh Edham bin Sheikh Hj Nikman.

The forum was chaired by Pengiran Haji Metassan bin Pengiran Bakar the Deputy Chair for the Kg Bunut Mosque Takmir Committee.

The Imam of Kg Bunut Mosque, Hj Mohammad Iskandarisah Hj Takong read a Doa Selamat at the end of the ceremony.
