Pusat Ehsan gets CNY donation

A philanthropists, Kuan Kim Seng,
treated the special need children at the Pusat Ehsan in Kg. Bengkurong
to a Chinese New Year lunch yesterday. The ceremony also saw Mr. Kuan
donating a cheque of an undisclosed amount to the centre. The cheque
was received by the Manager of Pusat Ehsan, Pg Hj Tajuddin bin Pg Mohd
Yassin.
Mr
Kuan is a frequent visitor to the centre as he fully supports its
cause.
Pusat
Ehsan is a non-profit organisation established to provide
rehabilitation for people with special needs. The operational costs of
the centre are covered through donations from government departments,
corporate organisations, village communities, mosques' committees and
philanthropists, who donate in the form of cash, food items and fuel
vouchers, to name a few.
Currently the centre has 78 members
with special needs.
