Foreigner assaulted for driving slowly

Road rage by some errant motorists is becoming common on Brunei Darussalam's roads and highways, where they let go their frustrations and endanger others in the process.

In a recent case during the Chinese New Year, a foreigner was allegedly assaulted by another motorist enraged at his slow driving along Jalan Tutong.

The latter followed the former from Sengkurong and decided to overtake him near a traffic junction.

He stopped his vehicle, came out and allegedly started punching the foreign driver several times.
