Bandar Seri Begawan – Initiatives in spearheading leadership development would be in line with the vision of His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei's Government of a knowledge-based or K-economy.

For leadership is about understanding what is expected of oneself.

Pengiran Dato Haji Abdul Hamid, Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office was speaking at the commencing of the Leadership Development Programme yesterday.

Pengiran Dato Haji Abdul Hamid said as a leader what is needed is delivering the roles and promises. Devoid of good leadership development will be hampered.

The Permanent Secretary hopes that the programme will generate positive ideas in further enhancing achievements in skilled leadership.

The four-day Leadership Development Programme is to enable senior decision makers to share and exchange views on leadership development and to learn new and possibly useful leadership tools and techniques. -- Courtesy of Radio Television Brunei
