An orientation day was held for some
184 Upper Six Level students of Hassanal Bolkiah Boys Arabic Secondary
School, Jalan Tutong yesterday.
The acting principal of the school,
Ustazah Siti Mariam bte Awg Daud, in her welcoming speech, highlighted
the responsibilities of students - both on and off school grounds -
and encouraged students to be more active by participating in school
activities. She also stressed on the importance of proper time
management and how important it is for students to abide by school
rules and regulations.
The holy Al-Quran was read by Mohd
Fathi Foad bin DSS Hj Abu Bakar while the recital of the school's oath
was led by Hj Nor Asma'an bin Hj Nordin. This was followed by prayers
by Ustaz Salah Ali Abd Salam El Ashqar. There was also a Dikir Dibai'e
performance by Upper Six Level students.
