Sultan sends congratulatory message to India

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam consented to send congratulatory messages to Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam, President of the Republic of India and Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Prime Minister of The Republic of India on the occasion of the anniversary of the Proclamation of the Republic of India.

In his message, His Majesty expressed his satisfaction with the warm and friendly relations and deep understanding that had so long been established between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of India.

His Majesty hoped that this would be maintained and enhanced in the future for the good of the two countries and people.

His Majesty also hoped that Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam, President of the Republic of India, would always remain in good health and happiness and for people of the Republic of India to always enjoy continued progress and prosperity.

In a similar congratulatory message, His Majesty congratulated Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Prime Minister of The Republic of India, and the Government and people of the Republic of India on the occasion of the Proclamation of the Republic.

His Majesty expressed his satisfaction with the warm and friendly relations that have been long established between the two countries. His Majesty also expressed his wish that this will be maintained and enhanced in the future for the mutual benefit of the two countries and people. His Majesty also wished Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Prime Minister of the Republic of India, has continued good health and happiness and for the prosperity of the people of the Republic of India.
