Kuala Belait Government Offices Get A Clean up

Kuala Belait – In an ongoing effort to keep a clean and healthy environment, the Belait District office organised a voluntary work to clean up government office buildings and its surroundings yesterday.

The campaign involved two main buildings, housing 16 government departments.

The Belait District, which serves as the head office of government departments in the district, in a press release said it is the responsibility of the government agencies in the district to portray good image and set an example to tourists and visitors wishing to have business to deal with government departments.

The cleaning campaign attracted the participation of senior government officers and staff members from government agencies in the district. Awang Haji Ali Bin Mat Yasin, the Acting District Officer led it. -- Courtesy of Radio Television Brunei
