Bangladesh Prime Minister Arrives Brunei

Bandar Seri Begawan – The Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Mrs Begum Khaleda Zia arrived in Brunei yesterday afternoon for a two-day official visit.

Present at the airport to welcome Bangladeshi Prime Minister was the Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad Bolkiah.

Soon after arrival, His Royal Highness and Bangladeshi Prime Minister proceeded to the dais to receive the "Royal Salute".

The visiting Prime Minister then inspected the Guard of Honour mounted by The Royal Brunei Land Force's Third Battalion.

Before leaving the Brunei International Airport, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad Bolkiah was introduced to the official delegation of the People's Republic of Bangladesh and Mrs Begum Khaleda Zia was introduced to Brunei's dignitaries. -- Courtesy of Radio Television Brunei
